This place was truly beautiful. The house was well laid out, decorated beautifully and the amenities were top notch! I have never seen an airbnb with so much love put into the dishes, cutlery, hosting supplies and guest comfort. I highly recommend this house for a stress free stay!

Where to start, Christopher is a wonderful host, we cannot wait to go back as this is such a great property. It's so hard to find a pet-friendly place, Poppy is an awesome playmate for your dog. We were unfamiliar with the expresso coffee maker and the host brought us a traditional drip coffee maker in the dark. If you're reading this review and are looking for a special place to spend some quality time as a family, you need to book this property right away. Christopher again, thanks for everything, not enough words to describe one of the best family vacations we've had.

Chris is a great host and is very welcoming. His attentiveness to detail during our stay made us feel right at home. He had a fire going in the fireplace when we arrived and showed us the infrared heater in the gazebo for reading outside on a cool October day. The lake is gorgeous and well worth exploring.

Great place to stay and relax by the lake. The owner Chris, and his dog Poppy, were incredibly friendly and Chris went out of his way to tell us about local sites, restaurants, stores, and events of interest. The cottage was extremely well-appointed and provisioned and even the fireplace was stocked with wood, kindling, starter paper, and matches. There are also kayaks, stand-up paddle boards and a canoe for guest use, and a great dock and fire pit area. I was just sad we were only there 3 days and that the weather wasn't overly warm. The place is dog friendly, too, which is a bonus for me. Loved the nights looking at the stars and listening to the loons. All in all, a great place and I hope to go back.

Where to begin on this gem! Chris has thought of every little detail when it came to this space. You never know what you are going to get when it comes to the little details, but the cookware was great, (even for making over easy eggs!We can't say that about most of the spots we've stayed in previously). The towels were so soft, there were an abundance of watercrafts to take out on the water! The spice collection and coffee options were delicious! We spent most of our time out on the water and caught many large bass (3lb+) and how could you not fall in love with Poppy, what a gracious puppy host she is! cheers Chris, can't wait to come back for another stay!

What a great location! Close to town and less than an hour walk on the K&P trail to Kick & Push brewery. The lake is beautiful and Chris has all the toys available to make use of it. The cabin itself was well appointed with a fully stocked kitchen and all the towels, blankets etc a person might need.

This cottage is so lovely. It’s incredibly clean and probably one of the best and most thoughtfully stocked Airbnbs I’ve ever been in. The cottage is a short 2 min walk to the dock with a beautiful lake view. There is a deck with a bbq and a hammock right outside the cottage. The kitchen has everything you need including a Nespresso machine and pods, a kettle, a bunch of spices, and an air fryer. Christopher was great and really quick to reply. We will definitely be staying here again in the future.

An absolutely fantastic experience. Christopher was easily the best and friendliest Host we’ve ever had. He even brought over sand toys when he saw my 5-year-old daughter was with us. The cottage was cozy and comfortable and fully stocked with amenities. We loved playing games and having our bonfire down by the water, as well as exploring the lake by canoe and kayak. The place is easy to find and access, and Christopher’s directions/instructions for getting there and checking in/out were very clear. We absolutely plan to go back!

This is a well-appointed, cozy cottage on a beautiful, large, waterfront property boasting many amenities (e.g. screened-in large porch, outdoor gazebo, kayaks, etc.). Our teens loved it! The fishing in Sharbot Lake is also fabulous! All the kitchen, bedding, and living room supplies were high quality and abundant. Our host was very helpful. I hope to return again.

This was our first stay at Chris’ cottage and we enjoyed every minute. Christopher is a host that clearly shows great care of the place and guests. His puppy, Poppy, is a joy. The cottage is spotless, tastefully decorated – especially loved the fireplace and the wall art. Very well equipped and organized – everything that we would possibly need was there. The deck, gazebo and fire pit, the kayaks, canoe and paddle boards, the dock, were a plus. Nature is just overwhelming here - the lake is calm and beautiful with water lilies at the shore; there is a ravine with mature trees close to the cottage and we’ve been lucky enough to see a deer one day. The bright stars and fireflies in the evenings were so enjoyable. We highly recommend this spot; we will be back as soon we get the chance. read less

The property was spacious and water and view was gorgeous. Was also a nice addition to be able to use the kayaks and paddle boards. Wonderful spot! Christopher has done a great job bringing the cabin back to life and it's everything you need: big kitchen, large TV for rainy days, big enclosed porch for games, BBQ, all the extras for the water (canoe, kayak, etc.). And fisherman? Sharbot Lake really surprised! It's very shallow near the cottage...and stays that way for a loooong while, so we weren't expecting much, but 7-10 1-2 lb bass came out! Chris was a great and attentive host. The place was super cute and clean. Its located on the main street, and within walking distance to the grocery store, coffee and donut shop. Pretty central location and only about 20mins from Perth. Wifi was perfect for my husband and I who both work remotely. The wooden fireplace was a welcomed feature when it was raining outside and we couldn't enjoy the fire pit. read less
